New York, New York, August 4th - Agile Mile announced its partnership with Hytch Rewards (Hytch) today at the Association for Commuter Transport (ACT) conference in New York City. Agile Mile is a premier provider of transportation demand management (TDM) software for state and local governments trying to solve congestion and traffic issues. Hytch is a cloud-based platform that uses patent-pending technology to incentivize ride-sharing with rewards and to make each shared ride carbon-neutral.

The companies have developed an open data exchange so Hytch trips can now be included in the Agile Mile platform. The new combination of capabilities will give Agile Mile clients the ability to track and verify transit data to make more well-informed decisions for their TDM programs.

Agile Mile clients are now able to implement the Hytch Mobility Rules Engine and introduce specific, hyper-local incentives that modify commute behavior. Commuters using the integrated platforms will enjoy a host of new benefits that include access to more rewards and carbon offsets that make each trip validated on the Hytch platform carbon-neutral.

The two complementary technologies will work in tandem to help transportation demand planners get verified data and eliminate the need for users to manually submit their trip data. GreenTrips is a program of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County / North Georgia Transportation Planning Organization that uses the Agile Mile platform. “Our GreenTrips members are helping reduce traffic congestion and air pollution in our community every single day,” said Jonathan Gibbons, Senior Multimodal Transportation Planner. “We’re so glad our current and future members will be able to double dip and earn incentive points through GreenTrips and Hytch.”

“The objective at Hytch is to deliver advanced technology that is easy for consumers to use and serves the trip reduction goals of transportation planners,” said Mark Cleveland, Co-founder and Chairman of Hytch. “When we partner with employers and world class transportation demand management system developers like Agile Mile, we’re able to deliver the capabilities their employees and customers want.”

“Agile Mile clients are creative and constantly looking for innovative ways to solve congestion issues,” said Rick Steele, Founder and CEO at Agile Mile, Inc. “We’ve observed Hytch over the last couple of years create a unique technology, and we’re thrilled to partner and exchange data to give our clients this new tool and a single view of the positive impact their policies have on the environment and congestion.”
