Neill is Chief Executive and Co-Founder of 17 Sport, the world’s first sports impact company whose purpose it is to build a positive future for the world through sport. Operating at the intersection of sport, business and purpose, 17 Sport provides purpose led advisory, commercial and implementation solutions to brands, sports properties, athletes and non-profits wanting to manage their investments in sport in a more purposeful way. 17 Sport operates virtually out of hubs in Paris and San Francisco supporting partners like Adidas, Danone, UEFA, ESPN, Streetfootballworld, Common Goal and Lisa Zimouche. 17 Sport also supports numerous initiatives aligned with its mission of inspiring, educating and enabling the business of sport to do good while doing well including the personal impact accelerator program Soul Purpose Sport and the Global Sports Week: sport for good Booster program.
After 15 years in the traditional sports marketing space, culminating in a role as President EMEA for leading global sports marketing agency Octagon Worldwide, Neill has spent these years honing his expertise in doing good while doing well through sport. During this time he has leveraged his strategic thinking and extensive network to support the delivery of a number of purpose led world firsts in sport including Super Bowl 50, as the most giving and sustainable Super Bowl ever, and the 34th America’s Cup as the and the first carbon neutral and zero waste international event.
Neill is the co-author of “Legacy Sport – How To Win At The Business Of Sport In The Age Of Social Good” that was published by Sunbury Press in the Fall of 2020. Neill regularly presents at major sports and purpose conferences and contributes to sports and purpose focused publications.
